Why API?
API integration is an alternative to EDI and provides a system-to-system data connection which is both internationally recognized, supported by most ERPs and the preferred method for most developers. API is simple since it requires minimal time spent on data mappings, which reduces valuable developer hours. Changes are easily implemented and data confidentiality is ensure through secured connections.
In LEMAN, we are continuously improving and upgrading our API solution provided to customers and agents. Our dedicated developer team ensures a solution of high quality, stability and security. The API solution comes with a thorough, easy-to-read documentation which aims to limit development issues and increase efficiency. Upgrades are regularly implemented to provide new features and ensure data security.
Getting started
Authorization
The first step to access our APIs is to obtain an ApiKey. The ApiKey is your password when making requests to the LEMAN API. This both authorizes your access and helps to validate the requests made. Please contact yourleman@leman.com to get your ApiKey.
Test environment
Besides our production environment, LEMAN also offers a test environment for our API. In the welcome email you will receive ApiKeys for both our test and productions environment. This allows you to setup and test your connection before starting to make requests to the production environment.
